The Nyukela Certificate that you need to work for government in South Africa, stands as a professionalism and competency guarantee.
Aiming to raise the public service’s professionalism levels and create a capable, ethical and developmental public service, the Nyukela certificate is a key part of the National Implementation Framework draft, a campaign by the National School of Government (NSG).
It addresses the professionalism of suitably qualified candidates through training programmes, with a strong focus on ethics and conduct, plus the public servant experience in governance, to ensure efficient and effective public service functioning.
At your own pace. The Nyukela Certificate takes about 120 hours, including assessment activities. Note: While you can do this course at your own pace, it has to be completed in the financial year in which you enrolled, I.e. starting on 1 April and ending on 31 March the next year.
