The Western Cape Government: Corporate Services Centre invites unemployed, suitably qualified South African graduates from the Western Cape to apply for the Graduate Internship Programme 2023/2024.

The Graduate Internship Programme is a Youth Development Programme and offers practical work experience over a 3-24 month period.

Minimum Requirements:

You are a South African citizen and reside in the Western Cape;
Aged 20 and 35;
Completed Certificate (NQF 5), Diploma (NQF 6), Degree (NQF 7) or Post Graduate Qualification (NQF 8 and higher).

Key Performance Areas:

Training will be provided in one of the following departments:
Agriculture;
Community Safety;
Cultural Affairs and Sport;
Department of the Premier Economic Development and Tourism;
Environmental Affairs & Development Planning;
Human Settlements;
Local Government;
Provincial Treasury;
Social Development;
Transport and Public Works.

The Graduate Internship Programme 2023/2024 will improve your employability in the following ways:

Gain skills and work experience;
Get contactable references on your CV;
Access to a support network to guide you, when making informed career choices.

The following documents will be requested:
Curriculum Vitae (preferably in MS Word);
Identity document (ID);
Qualification (academic results from the academic institution).
